RHABIRITES

Rhabi Rites is a Greensboro native who currently resides in North Carolina.  She has written over 40 stage plays and one-act plays and written over 20 songs, and an array of poetry.  Rhabi has directed two stage plays by other authors; Bound To Be free by Author Marva Edwards, and was performed twice late fall of 2016, and Crossroads by Playwright Kenny Jabari Harper, performed in the spring of 2017.  She recently recorded two of her songs, "God was There" in December of 2015, and "Lord Our God" a new single that was just released along with a music video, and is working on completing her first album.  Rhabi is the author of 3 published monologues that are currently used in the classroom at Potsdam University in New York; and author of the novel, Delivered.  She finished writing the biography of a woman named Faye Tedder, who was suffering from COPD, which was published earlier in 2015.  Rhabi has also completed the second novel in the Delivered series titled Heaven's Return.  Her current project is a web series based on the character Heaven, that is aired on her channel, www.youtube.com/rhabirites. Season 3 of the web series  premiered on December 18, 2017.  She is also a Motivational Speaker and has spoken at several events in the state of North Carolina. Season 2 of her web series, Heaven, received The Best Web Series award in Washington, DC on April 11, 2017.  Season 2, also won "Best Web Series of the Year" at the Featured Highlights Awards at Boston's in Greensboro, NC on September 27, 2017. Season 3 of Heaven has won two awards as well.  Best New Media from the Women's Only Entertainment Film Festival, March 2018, and a Diamond Award from the Los Angeles Hollywood Film Competition, May 2018. Her latest award is Best Webseries won in June of 2022.  Rhabi has finished with writing and filming part four of Heaven and is waiting on the premiere.
